Bio:

With over 25 years in consulting, Leo’s experience includes as acting Director of Information System at the former City of Toronto; acting Manager of Procurement for the Town of Richmond Hill; and a Professorship of Computer Science at the University of Toronto. His combination of management abilities, subject area knowledge and technology insight enables him to contribute to organizations in many ways.

Clients engage Leo to help them define and implement effective business and administrative strategies, processes and structures. Whether it involves unclogging service and operational bottlenecks, redefining or fine-tuning organizational designs
and relationships, bridging technology and business worlds or facilitating open and transparent procurements that keep government clients out of the newspapers, Leo’s ability to frame, analyze and solve challenges has led to many client successes and breakthroughs.

Leo works with a wide range of clients, including governments and public sector clients in Canada, United States, Colombia, Jamaica, Ontario, British Columbia, Alberta, Saskatchewan, various municipalities, school boards and post secondary institutions. Private sector clients include utilities, financial institutions, resource companies, retailers, insurers and manufacturers.

Leo has served as President of the Institute of Certified Management Consultants of Ontario, Vice-President of the ICMC in Alberta and Chair of Certification at the Canadian Institutes of Certified Management Consultants. He recently completed the Lean Six Sigma Certificate Program at the University of Toronto.

Leo enjoys a busy family life with his wife, son, daughter and dog. In the warm weather they sail, cycle and hike. Winter finds them on the slopes and trails, where Leo snowboards and snowshoes.
