As a senior executive with more than 20 years of experience, Myka’s career has focused on start-ups, change and growth initiatives. She has a reputation for building and transforming organizations, driving high growth objectives and increasing organizational efficiency. She is a proven strategist with a track record of leading transformative change in very complex environments and is recognized for her entrepreneurial approach.
In her executive roles and consulting engagements, Myka has helped organizations develop high functioning boards and governance structures/processes, develop and implement effective strategic and operational plans, and implement large scale organizational change. She is adept at facilitating, negotiating and mobilizing effective partnerships, helping organizations manage reputational issues, and developing effective leaders and teams.
Myka earned a BSc in Speech-Language Pathology from the University of Alberta in 1990 and MBA from the University of Alberta in 1998. She most recently completed the Ivey School of Business Community ShiftTM Executive Leadership program and is a certified change management professional. Myka has held positions on numerous non-profit and government boards and advisory committees.
