Chief Financial Officer – Nan wúújo anawúúdle

WMC is excited to partner with Nan wúújǫ anawúúdle in the search for a principled and strategic financial leader to serve as Chief Financial Officer (CFO).

Nan wúújǫ anawúúdle is a precedent-setting organization established to manage an initial $200 million fund, advancing Blueberry River First Nations (BRFN)-led land restoration and supporting BRFN’s goal of self-determination.

Reporting to the CEO and Board of Directors, the CFO will provide strategic financial leadership across investment and fund stewardship, financial management, risk, compliance, and reporting. This is a rare opportunity to help shape financial systems and strategies that combine strong fiduciary stewardship with BRFN values and long-term community impact.

Based in Fort St. John, BC, with hybrid arrangements considered for the right candidate, the CFO will join a collaborative, cohesive, and innovative workplace with a thoughtful and supportive executive team. The Society supports ongoing professional development, places a genuine emphasis on work-life balance, and offers a generous compensation and benefits program.
