Max Mollineaux is a Director and Executive Management Consultant at WMC, where he leads the firm’s executive search practice in British Columbia. With more than 25 years of experience and a background as a human resources executive, Max specializes in finding, assessing, and supporting senior leaders for purpose-driven organizations across Canada. His search work spans the Indigenous, nonprofit, environmental, real estate development, healthcare, and technology sectors.
Max is deeply committed to helping organizations identify leaders who not only meet the strategic requirements of the role, but who also align with the organization’s mission, values, and culture. He brings a thoughtful and equity-informed approach to every engagement, combining rigorous assessment with an ability to build trust across diverse communities.
A certified executive coach, Max provides coaching to executives, senior managers, and emerging leaders to help them navigate career transitions, strengthen leadership effectiveness, and achieve personal and professional goals. In addition to coaching, he supports Boards with CEO evaluations, delivers 360 feedback processes, and provides onboarding support to new and transitioning leaders.
Max holds an Executive MBA from the Quantic School of Business and Technology, a Post Graduate Certificate in Executive Coaching from Royal Roads University in Victoria, BC, and a BA (Honours) in Human Resources Management with a minor in French from De Montfort University in Leicester, England. He is a certified Myers-Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI) Practitioner (Levels I and II), a certified Leadership Circle Profile practitioner (a 360-degree feedback tool for senior leaders), and an approved Positive Intelligence Mental Fitness Trainer.
When not working, Max enjoys spending time outdoors with his family, often boating and dirt bike riding throughout BC. Of mixed Caribbean and British heritage, Max has made what is now called Vancouver his home since 1999, where he lives and works on the traditional and unceded territories of the Musqueam, Squamish, and Tsleil-Waututh Peoples.
