WMC is excited to partner with Cook’s Ferry Indian Band in the search for their next Controller.
Cook’s Ferry Indian Band is a Nlaka’pamux Nation located in the Thompson River Valley of British Columbia, with a strong commitment to responsible governance, financial stewardship, and the effective delivery of programs and services to its members.
Reporting to the Chief Administrative Officer, the Controller is the senior financial leader within the Band administration, responsible for overseeing financial operations, reporting, audit processes, and compliance. This hands-on role works closely with the CAO and Chief and Council to support informed decision-making and organizational accountability.
This is a key leadership opportunity to strengthen financial systems and processes while supporting strong, community-driven governance.
